Sandhouse OmniStrong💪 Extra Durable 2 Component Floor Lacquer

For floors that take a hammering. Pets, parties, prams, heavy foot traffic. OmniStrong is a two-component water-based polyurethane lacquer that hardens into a tough, clear film. Use it as a durable top coat over two base coats of OmniTone, or as a full system on pine floorboards. For oak floors, prime with a coat of OmniTone first.

Available in 1L, 2.5L and 5L. Three sheens: Ultra Matt, Satin Matt and Satin Sheen.

Coverage

• 1L covers up to 18m2 (use over 2 to 3 coats of OmniTone or OmniPrime)
• 2.5L covers up to 30 to 35m2 (use over OmniTone, or OmniPrime
• 5L for a full 2 component system, or large areas

How to Use

1. Mix both components thoroughly in the container, put the lid on and shake well
2. Pour and stir until fully blended and uniform
3. Apply with a microfibre roller as your final coat once base coats are fully dry

Drying Times

(20°C, normal humidity, good airflow)

• Pot life once mixed: approx. 2 hours. Only mix what you can use in this time
• Dust-free: 20 to 40 minutes
• Ready to recoat: 1 to 2 hours (in good conditions)
• Light foot traffic: 4 to 6 hours (socks only)
• Furniture back: 24 hours (lift, don't drag)
• Rugs and heavy items: 3 to 5 days
• Full cure and chemical resistance: 5 to 7 days

Cool rooms, poor airflow or heavy coats will slow drying.

Application Notes

• Mix lacquer and hardener thoroughly in the correct ratio
• Apply thin, even coats using a microfibre roller
• Keep airflow steady but avoid strong draughts or direct heat
• If more than 24 hours passes before recoating, lightly abrade and vacuum before the next coat

Safety

• Use only in well-ventilated areas
• Avoid breathing vapour or mist
• Wear suitable gloves, protective eyewear and appropriate clothing
• Avoid prolonged skin contact and wash hands after use
• Keep out of reach of children
• Allow proper curing before heavy use or cleaning with chemicals
