Omnitone – Drying & Safety Guidance

Drying times (20 °C, normal humidity, good airflow):

• Dust-free: 45 - 60 minutes
• Ready to recoat: 2–3 hours (in good conditions, 1 hour may be sufficient)
• Light foot traffic: 3–4 hours (socks only)
• Furniture back: 24–48 hours (lift, don’t drag)
• Rugs and heavy items: 5–7 days
• Full cure & chemical resistance: approx. 7 days

Application notes:

• Apply thin, even coats using a roller & brush (for the cutting in)
• Avoid draughts and direct sunlight during application to prevent uneven drying.
• If more than 24 hours passes before recoating, lightly de-nib with a fine abrasive and remove dust before applying the next coat.

• Wear suitable gloves, protective eyewear, and appropriate clothing.
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes — wash splashes immediately with plenty of water.
