Sandhouse OmniTone™ Varnish/Lacquer – Extra Pale (Pale White Look)

5L = 30m2 coverage, 3 coats. 2.5L = 17m2 coverage, advisable for hallways, smaller rooms (think Victorian terrace type) or small projects like doors or furniture.

A contemporary pale finish for light to medium-toned plank floors. Extra Pale adds a subtle lightness while keeping the grain visible, without darkening or yellowing over time. Water-based, low VOC. Works on oak, pine, birch, maple, ash and beech. Not recommended for dark woods such as teak.

• Bare Naked Look – maintains the wood's natural, unfinished appearance
• Extra Pale Look – adds a subtle lightness while keeping the grain visible
• 10% Tone – a delicate, soft enhancement for a refined contemporary feel

Drying Times

(20°C, normal humidity, good airflow)

• Dust-free: 30 to 45 minutes
• Ready to recoat: 1 to 2 hours (in good conditions)
• Light foot traffic: 3 to 4 hours (socks only)
• Furniture back: 24 to 48 hours (lift, don't drag)
• Rugs and heavy items: 5 to 7 days
• Full cure and chemical resistance: approx. 7 days

Application Notes

• Apply thin, even coats using a roller and brush (for cutting in)
• Avoid draughts and direct sunlight during application
• If more than 24 hours passes before recoating, lightly de-nib with a fine abrasive and remove dust before the next coat

Safety

• Use only in well-ventilated areas
• Avoid breathing vapour or mist
• Wear suitable gloves, protective eyewear and appropriate clothing
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes, wash splashes immediately with plenty of water
• Keep out of reach of children
• Store tightly sealed in a cool, frost-free place
